Only collect wood found on the ground as the Woodlands are proctected. There is usually wood to collect in the Spinney and adjacent bridle path, although it is advisable to bring some with you. Please avoid making fires directly on the fireplaces as this damages the concrete and brick. Crates, metal sheets and grids are available in the old wash houses in the copse, please return after use. Bricks can be found at each fireplace (please leave stacked by fireplace when finished). There are several concrete fireplaces on each site. There is room for a third person using a camp bed if required. It consists of a bunk bed, shower and toilet.

The Green Door on the Bungalow, houses a Leaders or Gents toilet and hand basin with cold water only. There are 4 toilets including 1 for those with special needs.There is also an oven and hob for use by those camping.


Each site is allocated a fridge and there is one freezer for all to share. The Camp Store is a new building situated close to the Lodge and Bunk House.Įnough equipment is stored here for use by the 3 private camp sites i.e. They have ample room to be used as a wet weather shelter or craft centre. All you have to think about is food and drink. The kitchen area is equipped with a two ring gas burner and all the pots/ pans/ crockery/ glasses you will need. A cosy wood stove inside will keep you warm. The additional beds have sheets only, ready for your own pillows, duvet or sleeping bag. The double bed will be fully made with linen sheets/ duvet/ pillows. The dome sleeps 6 with one double bed, one double sofa and one bunk bed.

The dome has a ginormous clear window at the front, with curtains for privacy, and also two triangle windows at the back, plus the stargazer at the top. Cherry Tree is a massive 7 meter Geodome providing a perfect all year round getaway, complete with insulation for a cosy winter or cool summer stay. Nestled in Tipi Trail on pitch 2 by the stream, listen to the babbling stream while watching the stars above your bed through the stargazer.
